Beth Freeman

Producer and Director

Intrigued by the human condition and inspired by the nature that surrounds us, Beth gets outside as much as she can and spends her indoor time bringing stories and ideas to life.

With over 15 years of experience in sponsorship and business development, and project management, Beth’s experience spans a range of industries including entertainment, cultural and sporting events. She was part of the team that produced Vancouver’s winning bid for the 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. As the Manager of Cultural Programs, she played a key role in the development of youth, education and arts programs and budgets that formed the basis of the programs launched by the 2010 Vancouver Organizing Committee of the Games.

As an independent film professional, Beth has worked on a wide range of projects. Inspired by the bravery of her sister, a patrol medic who deployed to Afghanistan, Beth followed the stories of three women in the most difficult and dangerous military professions who fought on the frontlines in Afghanistan. The resulting documentary, SISTERS IN ARMS was broadcast nationally in Canada and awarded Best Documentary at the 2012 Film North Film Festival in Huntsville, Ontario.

Naheed Henderson

Naheed Henderson

Producer and Interview Host

With a design aesthetic honed by a lifetime in the mountains and post graduate training at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, combined with the work ethic of an organic farmer, Naheed Henderson has lent her marketing talent, guiding skills and adventure profile to a host of vertically-impassioned clients and partners from Karhu skis and Garmont Boots to Genuine Guide Gear and The Backcountry Lodges of BC Association to Arcteryx and finally numerous global ski Festivals.

After a childhood in Vermont followed by ski bum years based out of Jackson Hole, Naheed chose Whistler/Pemberton as her base to raise a family, grow her own food, and continue seeking adventure and inspiration.

As a global adventurer, professional sponsored skier, sports model and endurance runner, Naheed was part of numerous worldly mountain adventures and big mountain skiing endeavors. One of her most notable mountaineering expeditions to ski an un-skied/unnamed peak brought her to discover the oldest existing ski culture in the world, in the Altai Mountains of China.

She has been on design and development teams that put to market leading skis and hard goods, and run across the rooftops of the world with highlights including a thirty-one day running traverse of the Spanish Pyrenees and an eight hour running traverse of the Teton Crest Trail.
