Mtn story kw live

Our first live event happened! And it was a great success! Truly a riveting and courageous story was revealed and shared in front of a captive audience about Ken Wylie’s life as a mountain guide.

An incredible amount of passion, energy, thought and perseverance has gone into the project thus far, which meant celebration was in order when we finally produced the first live audience interview on January 23, 2015. And to think that it’s the first of many – absolutely amazing! Yes, it certainly met our goals of sharing an inspiring and transformational story of mountain adventure with a keen audience chalked full of members of the area’s mountain community. Minds were so focused on the storytelling that you could hear a pin drop in the room. While we are thrilled with the outcome of the first live audience event, we are aware that with time and practice comes refinement and we are committed to seeing this process through.

As the person whose task it is to navigate a path of discussion that reveals a story of mountain inspired transformation, as well as one that evolves dialogue about our relationship with the mountains, I would like to say how inspired I have become about my own Mountain Story and my own relationship with the mountains. As I shared in a recent interview with the CBC, “the mountains have been my greatest teacher in life, “ and now I have the opportunity to share with our community the teachings that the mountains have given to some of the most amazing personalities in mountain culture today. This is truly and incredible opportunity and gift!

I look forward to seeing you on February 20, 2015 at our next live audience interview with guest Chuck Barfoot.
